1、big常指水平，规模，范围，容积，重量，数目等（还可表现"巨大，主要"之意）常可与large互换，多用于具体的、有形的人或物（其反义词多为little/small 。）如：
This is a big cock.这是只大公鸡 。
cake is the biggest of all.吉姆的蛋糕是所有蛋糕中最大的 。There is a big tree beside the house.房子旁边有一棵大树 。a big man/house/increase
