世界经济论坛（WEF）日前发布《自然与商业之未来》报告，这是继2020年1月发布的《2020年全球风险报告》警示自然经济风险正在上升之后， WEF“新自然经济报告”系列的第二期。
The World Economic Forum（WEF） published The Future of Nature and Business – the second instalment in its New Nature Economy Report （NNER）series following January 2020’s Nature Risk Rising.

该报告估计，由于企业对日益减少的自然资源的依赖，全球超过一半的GDP（约44万亿美元经济价值）正处于风险之中。
The report estimates that over half the world’s GDP – some $44 trillion of economic value – is at risk due to businesses’ reliance on dwindling planetary resources.
WEF强调，因数月以来全球前所未有的经济动荡，世界正加速变化。在政府和企业寻求刺激增长之际，面对气候崩溃和自然危机，“一切照旧”的商业模式不再是选项之一。
Citing the unprecedented turbulence of the intervening months, WEF stresses that, in the face of climate breakdown and nature loss, business as usual is no longer an option.
该报告亦从全球应对新冠肺炎疫情的速度中发现了较为乐观的机会，对企业界行动起来应对其他迫在眉睫的生存挑战表示出了信心。
The report does, however, draw optimism from the speed of global response to the COVID-19 pandemic, signifying confidence that the corporate world can mobilise with the urgency required to tackle other imminent existential challenges.
该报告还指出，改变我们利用土地和海洋的方式，对防止地球生态系统崩溃非常重要。
The report also states that although climate change is a significant driver of nature loss, changing how we use our lands and seas is equally important to prevent a collapse in Earth ecosystems.

《自然与商业之未来》确定了三个关键的社会经济系统，它们共同代表全球三分之一以上的经济规模，对生物多样性构成了最大威胁。
The Future of Nature and Business identifies three key socio-economic systems, collectively representing over one-third of the global economy, which pose the greatest threat to biodiversity-
同时，该报告也指出了包括采取再生农业实践和减少城市扩张在内的15项“自然受益”的系统性转型，为商业企业勾勒出一幅蓝图，能够在2030年前创造高达10.1万亿美元的商业价值和3.95亿个就业岗位。
and provides a blueprint for business to generate up to $10.1 trillion and 395 million jobs by 2030, by pointing to 15 systemic, ‘nature-positive transitions’ including embracing regenerative agricultural practices and reducing urban sprawl.
