We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and dynamic individual to join an innovative service evaluation project commissioned by Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust.
Recent work has shown that an online sleep programme (Sleepio) can improve both the sleep and general mental health of adults. The aim of this project is to determine the effect of Sleepio as a first step intervention for young people aged 14-17 attending child and adolescent mental health services (CAMHS). The project is led by Professor Paul Stallard and will recruit young people from CAMHS services across Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Swindon, Wiltshire and Bath and North East Somerset.
The post holder will gain consent and undertake baseline and follow-up assessments involving standardised psychological measures and semi-structured interviews. They will need to liaise with clinicians and managers in CAMHS teams, young people and their parents. Applicants need a good BSc in Psychology or other related discipline, excellent communication skills, and previous experience of working with children & young people with mental health problems. The post holder should be able to work effectively independently as well as within a team. The post will involve regular travel and a therefore access to transport is essential in order to fulfil travel duties.

This is a fixed term post for 12 months working 18.25 hours per week (0.5 FTE)/. Starting as soon as possible. The appointed applicant will also be subject to a (Disclosure and Barring Service) check.
